Analyzing and optimizing sheet metal parts with just a click
At the end of October, close to 40.000 visitors met at the EuroBLECH trade show in Hanover, Germany. At the TRUMPF booth, Optimate presented a brand-new version of its App for analyzing and optimizing sheet metal parts. Another highlight: for a short time only, automated part optimization will also be available in the basic version of the App.
"It was an extremely successful trade show for us. Our booth was very well attended and many international trade visitors, from as far as South America, Africa and Asia, were interested in our App," reports Jonas Steiling, CEO of Optimate GmbH. Designers and job shoppers from the sheet metal working industry as well as decision-makers found their way to Optimate.
The Optimate App with a new design
According to Optimate, attendees were especially enthusiastic about the App's unique technology and new design. "Some trade fair visitors were already familiar with our Cloud solution from previous trade shows or PR activities. Our redesigned App was well received across the board, and the new user interface proved very compelling," says Jonas Steiling. He also announced that Automated Optimization (automated part optimization with integrated redesign) will be available to all users in the basic version of the App for a limited time, and that plug-in development for integration into CAD software programs will be featured prominently in the upcoming year. Not only can CAD drawings be uploaded in the App for automated feasibility analysis and part optimization, but it is also possible to download and transfer design proposals directly to the respective CAD program as STEP files.
