Here comes the Summer!

The good weather may be ‘missing in action, but the feel good factor is here to stay with the ‘hot off the press’ publication of Mills CNC’s Summer edition of Insight.

Mills CNC, the exclusive distributor of DN Solutions’ and Zayer machine tools in the UK and Ireland, has just published its latest ‘Summer’ Edition’ of Insight – the company’s popular, biannually-produced customer magazine.

Available in digital format, and accessed from the company’s website (www.millscnc.co.uk) this latest edition is packed with the latest news, information and developments from Mills CNC.

Starting off with a review of Mills’ first half-year sales performance which, despite macro market volatility and unpredictability, has surpassed all expectations and, as far as sales orders were concerned, was the best results the company has ever posted in its 52-year history, the Summer edition also contains a brief retrospective of Mills’ attendance at the MACH 2026 Show in April which, according to Mills CNC’s Group CEO, Tony Dale, “demonstrated, once again, the tremendous pulling power of Mills CNC and the wide appeal the company’s advanced technologies have with UK and Irish component manufacturers.”

With 41 orders taken and over 3000 visitors making their way onto the company’s stand over the five day event, it is hard to argue otherwise.

The Summer edition of Insight also contains a number of recently completed customer case studies from around the UK.

From Sheffield in Yorkshire down to Poole in Dorset, stopping off at Matlock, Nuneaton, Birmingham and Stroud, these case studies provide further evidence, if any were needed, that DN Solutions’ Lynx and Puma lathes, its DNM vertical machining centres and its DNX mill-turn machines, as well as Mills’ SYNERGI automation systems, are the first choice for manufacturers…everywhere.

Speaking of SYNERGi automation systems, Mills unveiled its new T Series (T5, T10 and T20) part loading/unloading systems on its stand at MACH 2026, and an overview of all three low- volume/high-mix solutions are covered in this edition of Insight.

Finally, the edition also details changes that have occurred at the top of the CNC Training Academy.

Karen Earley, who became Training Manager in 2023, has now retired (April 2026) and has been replaced by Darren Clarke who was previously employed at the CNC Training Academy as one of its Trainers.

Continues Tony Dale:

“This latest edition of Insight is a great way for customers, potential customers and everyone associated with Mills CNC to find out more about what we’ve been up to over the last six months or so.

“We’ve had a brilliant first half-year, and are now actively developing a number of exciting and innovative projects and programmes for the next six months.

“To make sure you don’t miss out on these please remember to visit our website and check out our social media channels.”
