Visual identity: The rebrand is supported by a redesigned graphic panel covering the build chamber.
- Rebrand scope: ATLIX, formerly TRUMPF Additive Manufacturing, has replaced TruPrint branding with the xBUILD moniker across its additive manufacturing portfolio, effective September 1st, 2026.
- Product lineup: Four technically unchanged systems — xBUILD 1000 (compact, high precision), xBUILD 2000 (print quality focus), xBUILD 3000 (full-field multilaser), and xBUILD 5000 (large parts, high-volume production).
- Trade show debut: New-look xBUILD machines will appear at IMTS (338365, South Building, Level 3) and Formnext (stand 12-D99), with further developments promised for Formnext.
ATLIX, formerly TRUMPF Additive Manufacturing, has rebranded its additive manufacturing portfolio, retiring the TruPrint name in favor of a new "xBUILD" product family.
A naming system with intent
The rebrand connects ATLIX's machines to its broader "xWORLD" ecosystem.
"Since the launch of ATLIX, we have had a very positive year, with strong customer confidence and growing interest in our company and our international vision for industrialising additive manufacturing," said Marino Ferrarese, Head of Sales and Marketing at ATLIX.
Four systems, technically unchanged
The portfolio comprises four systems, each positioned for specific production requirements. Critically for existing customers and prospective buyers, the machines themselves remain technically unchanged — this is a naming and identity exercise, not a hardware revision.
- xBUILD 1000: — a compact metal 3D printing system delivering premium part quality and high precision.
- xBUILD 2000: — designed to deliver outstanding print quality without compromise.
- xBUILD 3000: — combines enhanced performance with full-field multilaser capability and versatile operation, targeting industrial additive manufacturing.
- xBUILD 5000: — built for large critical parts and high-volume production, aimed at industrial serial production and large-format builds.
The lineup reads as a deliberate progression: compact precision at the entry point, multilaser industrial capability in the middle, and serial-production scale at the top.
Where the company goes next
"The new product names and visual identity reflect the evolution of ATLIX as a company. We are increasingly recognised for the reliability and quality of our products, and we are now focused on expanding into new markets and strengthening our international presence," Ferrarese said.
Attendees will get their first look at the new-look machines at two major trade shows: IMTS (booth 338365, South Building, Level 3) and Formnext (stand 12-D99). Ferrarese indicated additional developments are already underway, with more to be presented at Formnext.
