Timeline: Deployment began in August 2026 and will complete by October.
- Capacity investment: Quickparts announced its second major capacity investment in 18 months, totaling nearly $6 million for its Seattle Aerospace & Defense Center of Excellence.
- Fleet modernization: 12 Stratasys NEO systems are being added across the United States, France, Italy, and the United Kingdom, retiring earlier-generation machines.
- Throughput gain: The new systems increase large-format throughput by 40% and standardize production across the US and Europe.
- Strategic positioning: The investment positions Quickparts to deliver as space and defense programs scale, with qualified capability across four countries.
Quickparts has announced its second major capacity investment in 18 months, bringing its total commitment to its Seattle Aerospace & Defense Center of Excellence to nearly $6 million. The centerpiece: 12 Stratasys NEO systems deployed across operations in the United States, France, Italy, and the United Kingdom.
Scaling Ahead of Demand
The deployment modernizes the company's production fleet across all four sites, and it continues a deliberate build-out.
The timing is not accidental. Space, defense, and national security programs operate on launch cadences and production ramps where holding schedule is a requirement, not a differentiator. The investment positions Quickparts to deliver as those programs scale.
"Reshoring and industrial resilience are usually discussed as policy. We're treating them as a balance-sheet decision," said Avi Reichental, CEO of Quickparts.
What the Machines Buy
The new systems increase large-format throughput by 40%. Earlier-generation machines are being retired, and production is being standardized across the United States and Europe — meaning a part qualified in Seattle can be built to an identical standard in France, Italy, or the United Kingdom without requalifying a new supplier.
Reichental argues the hardware is the easy part to copy:
"Anyone can buy the same machine we just bought. What they can't buy quickly is a qualified capability delivering to the same standard across four countries, at a scale that took us years to build."
That framing matters. Quickparts runs production through in-house facilities and a certified network of manufacturing partners, a model built for speed and cost. Owned, qualified capacity is the harder-won asset.
Partner Perspective
"Quickparts' investment reflects the growing role large-format additive manufacturing now plays in critical applications across aerospace, defense, and space," said Dr. Yoav Zeif, CEO of Stratasys.
Deployment began in August 2026 and will complete across all sites by October.
