Stratasys and Limbitless Solutions Expand Partnership to Enhance Sustainability and Accessibility in 3D-Printed Prosthetics

Stratasys and Limbitless Solutions, a non-profit research facility at the University of Central Florida, are deepening their 12-year partnership to prioritize sustainability, education, and increased access to 3D-printed prosthetics for children.

A Decade of Collaboration

The partnership between Stratasys and Limbitless Solutions has already made significant strides, delivering hundreds of 3D-printed prosthetic devices to children across the United States and beyond. Stratasys has consistently provided materials, advanced additive manufacturing technology, and engineering expertise to support Limbitless Solutions' mission.

By reconditioning high-performing equipment through our Certified Pre-Owned program, we not only reduce waste but also enable purpose-driven organisations like Limbitless to extend their reach and empower more lives."

Focus on Sustainability

This year, the collaboration has placed a stronger emphasis on sustainability. Stratasys has donated a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) F370 3D printer to Limbitless Solutions. The CPO program extends the life of additive manufacturing equipment through factory-certified refurbishment and redeployment, aligning with Stratasys' commitment to sustainable practices.

Empowering Future Engineers

The partnership also includes a dedicated Limbitless lab at the University of Central Florida, equipped with multiple Stratasys systems. This facility provides students with hands-on experience in 3D printing, fostering the next generation of engineers and designers committed to building a more accessible world.
