Sinto Advanced Ceramics Europe GmbH has achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification, affirming its commitment to quality in the additive manufacturing of technical ceramic components.
A Certification Carried Through an Acquisition
The certification follows the acquisition of Bosch Advanced Ceramics by Japan's Sintokogio Group in November. The company has been operating under the Sinto brand since January 1, 2026. This is not the first time the company has held the certification; it had previously done so under its former identities since 2017, demonstrating the resilience of its quality management system across multiple transitions.
Maintaining such continuity is challenging, as ownership changes often strain documented processes. Certification bodies are typically stringent during periods of organizational upheaval.
A Clean Audit from TÜV SÜD
The audit, conducted by TÜV SÜD, reaffirmed the certification. The company reported no non-conformities during the audit, highlighting the robustness of its quality system.
Dejan Licinovic, Quality Manager at Sinto Advanced Ceramics Europe GmbH, emphasized the significance of the result:
"The successful certification demonstrates that we have seamlessly maintained our high quality standards throughout the ownership transition."
"Completing the audit without a single non-conformity is a strong reflection of the quality of our processes and the commitment of our entire team."
What It Means for Customers
Managing Director Nikolai Sauer highlighted the collective effort behind the achievement:
"I would like to sincerely thank all our colleagues who work every day to uphold and continuously improve our high quality standards. We would also like to thank our customers for their trust and confidence."
The certification serves as a testament to the company's commitment to quality under the Sintokogio Group. The unbroken certification record since 2017, across three company identities, underscores the company's dedication to maintaining high standards in the demanding field of technical ceramics.
