Addireen has unveiled an updated XH-M350G-2HR metal 3D printing system for the series production of pure copper and copper alloys. The announcement, dated September 21, 2026, pairs the machine update with the launch of the AddireenNow automated quotation platform.
Production focus
The XH-M350G-2HR uses green lasers with configurations of 500 W and 1KW. Its build volume is 350 × 350 × 550 mm, with parameter settings for 30, 40 and 80 μm layer thicknesses. The headline process figure is a pure-copper build rate reaching up to 4.24 cm³/h at a 40 μm layer thickness.
The update is not only about laser power. Addireen is targeting the time between layers and the stability of long runs: bidirectional variable-speed recoating, updated purging and chamber sealing are intended to reduce preparation time for each new layer. The optical path has been revised, and active temperature control has been added to reduce thermal drift. The chamber uses separate airflow levels to remove smoke and spatter and to limit deposits near the protective window.
“For our customers, scaling up copper AM means producing more parts per build, sustaining reliable operation over long production cycles and maintaining consistent quality from batch to batch. The third-generation XH-M350G-2HR focuses on these production priorities to help customers scale their pure-copper manufacturing with confidence,” said Yujing Xu, Director of Global Business at Addireen.
The production case is supported by machine history and a recent build. The XH-M350G series has logged more than 100,000 printing hours, and a recent 140-hour build produced approximately 400 pure-copper heat sinks for optical transceivers on a single build plate. For process review and traceability, the system records laser power and chamber oxygen.
Addireen positions the machine for applications where thermal or electrical conductivity is critical, including liquid cold plates, heat exchangers and aerospace combustion chambers.
Quoting workflow
Alongside the machine, the AddireenNow automated quotation platform combines automated quoting with engineering support, metal 3D printing, post-processing and inspection. The wider production network includes more than 100 metal additive manufacturing systems and over 20 post-processing and quality-assurance systems.
The engineering takeaway is straightforward: copper AM remains difficult, but Addireen is framing the XH-M350G-2HR around throughput, layer-to-layer efficiency, optical stability and traceable production rather than around a standalone machine specification.
